The mission of Rotary International is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Rotary International’s current president is Ron D. Burton. President Burton’s theme for 2013-14 is Engage Rotary – Change Lives.  “We need to make sure that every Rotarian has a meaningful role to play, that they’re all making a contribution, and that their contribution is valued.”

Rotary’s motto is Service Above Self and every Rotarian should evaluate all decisions, both personal and in business, using The Four-Way Test:

1. Is it the TRUTH
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
