Spend St. Valentine’s Day at the beach – right here in Hickory.

Hickory Sunrise Rotary Club brings the beach to Hickory on February 14th 2015, with music from the Fantastic Shakers in the beautiful setting of the Crossing at Hollar Mill.

Shag lessons will be provided from 7 till 8 pm, followed by dancing until midnight.  Heavy hors d’oeuvres are included in the price of $30 per person. There will also be a cash bar and a silent auction with outstanding bargains donated by our community sponsors. Proceeds from the event go to fund scholarships for deserving local students at CVCC.

The Fantastic Shakers are known far and wide as the Southeast’s best dance band, famed both for their musical performance and their own unique personality and style that will really make the evening go with a swing.

The event venue, The Crossing at Hollar Mill in downtown Hickory, is a great location in an atmospheric restored warehouse, and we look forward to seeing you there for a fun evening in support of a great cause.
