Club History

On November 27, 2000, Hickory Sunrise Rotary Club became the fifth Rotary Club in Catawba County and the first club to meet in the morning. Part of Rotary District 7670 which comprises 54 clubs stretching across 22 counties in Western North Carolina (WNC), the Club began meeting at Lenoir-Rhyne University, moved to the Gateway Center and then returned to the University where meetings are still currently held.

The most diverse Club in the District with 100% Sustaining Membership since inception, Hickory Sunrise’s personality is reflected in the laughter and fellowship that is shared among members.
