As in previous years, Hickory Sunrise Rotary Members helped out at the Foothills Veterans Stand Down held on April 21st 2017 at Catawba Valley Community College. As before, we served food to veterans and volunteers. This year we had the benefit of the new food truck operated by Bob Steiger and Robert Garrison.

Veterans attending the event have access to a range of services, such as dentistry, opportunities to meet with VA officials, employment advice and army surplus items.
