The first annual Rotary Jam, taking place this Saturday, May 17th 2014 will not only provide a fun evening for all, thanks to the music of the amazing Harris Brothers – if you haven’t heard them yet, you really should – wine and craft beers and barbecue, but will also provide scholarships for deserving students wishing to attend CVCC. There will also be a show of paintings by local artists, a silent auction and prize drawings throughout the evening. So come on down to the Warehouse in downtown Hickory from 4 to 8 and join in the fun, while making a $25 contribution to a worthy cause. There are still tickets available, and these can be purchased at the door. See below for full details.

As part of the preparations for Rotary Jam, Hickory Sunrise Rotary member Ric Vandett visited Hickory High School to explain the scholarship opportunities.
