The first annual Rotary Jam on Saturday, May 17th 2014 was a fun evening for all, thanks to the music of the amazing Harris Brothers and the outstanding barbecue prepared by Hickory Sunrise Rotarians. The event netted over $4,000 to provide scholarships for deserving students wishing to attend Catawba Valley Community College. There was a show of paintings by local artists, a silent auction and prize drawings throughout the evening.

Our thanks go to the Harris Brothers for a great performance and especially to all who supported the event by their generous donations for the silent auction – Charles Lisk, Catawba Valley Medical Center, Dan Green, Highland Unfinished Furniture, Lexington Homebrands, Designmaster Furniture, Active Edge, Century Furniture, Patricia A. A special thanks also to Sarah Frisbey and Warehouse 18, not only for providing such a wonderful venue, but also for the generous last-minute donations to the silent auction.
